DramaQueen 4.3 – Update Report

This update includes a new feature for DramaQueeen PLUS and PRO as well as improvements.

NEW FEATURE: TYPEWRITER MODE – FOR PLUS AND PRO

The Text panel now features a typewriter mode that provides a fluid writing experience. The mode can be activated via the gear menu of the Text panel and works across all three text levels. In typewriter mode, the cursor is automatically kept above the vertical center of the visible area. This causes the text to scroll continuously upward while writing, instead of the cursor “sticking” to the bottom of the screen. The feature activates automatically as soon as the cursor reaches the vertical center, and pauses when the cursor is positioned above the center – for example, when editing already written passages.

IMPROVEMENTS

• The new story model ‘Time Travel’ for DramaQueen PRO is located in the gear menu of the Overview and Board panels under ‘Configure structure…’ -> ‘Choose structure model’ -> ‘Start with template (selection of story models)’
• Summaries can now be configured differently in the Overview and Board panels – via the ‘Summaries’ option in the gear menu. For example, you can set the text headings (chapter or scene headings) in the Overview panel, and the entered summaries in the Board panel.
